Locally, home prices remain strong while inventory is showing the normal spring buildup in numbers.

In Outagamie, Winnebago and Calumet Counties April brought a modest increase in sale price of 4% over April of last year. Homes listed near or below the average sales price remain very competitive from the Buyer side, with multiple offers and over-asking prices being the norm for accurately priced listings. Above the average, some more popular listings are seeing the same type of interest, while others are selling closer to or sometimes below list price.

Total active listings on the market increased each week in April for a total of 16.8% increase, from 632 to 738.

Things are always changing, and there are many variables to consider when buying or selling. Remember, who you work with matters. It can make the difference between getting that house you want or a successful sale, or being disappointed and going back to the drawing board.
