As March arrives, we welcome the first hints of spring while still embracing the charm of the season here i in the Fox Cities. Longer days, fresh opportunities, and a community full of exciting events make this the perfect time to explore, connect, and dream about what’s next. Whether you're enjoying the last snowy days or looking ahead to warmer weather, there’s so much to love about this time of year!
Here’s what’s happening this month:
1. MOM PROM
Get out those old prom, homecoming, bridesmaid, and wedding gowns, or have fun shopping for a new dress. Maybe you want to wear your favorite outfit right from your closet. Whatever you decide, it's time for our favorite ladies night of the year! It may be called Mom Prom, but it’s open to all ladies 21 and over. There will be plenty of dancing, a cash bar, photo opportunities, and raffle baskets. Maybe you’ll get named Prom Queen!? Mom Prom is a fundraiser for Appleton Parks and Recreation’s fee waiver scholarship program. This program provides youth in the City of Appleton financial assistance towards our recreation programs such as sports leagues, swim lessons, and more.

2. 7TH ANNUAL FOX CITIES KIDZ EXPO
The Fox Cities Kidz Expo, a free community event featuring dozens of interactive and educational activities for children and families, will be back at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center!
FUN -- Interactive activities & entertainment for children and parents. Activities include face painting, photos with favorite costumed characters, crafts, hands on exhibits, selfie stations, and on-going entertainment throughout the day!
EDUCATION -- Exhibitors will present engaging, interactive displays and activities, making it fun for families to participate.ADVENTURE -- Interactive games, science projects, dinosaur experience, nature adventures and more!
This year's theme is "Growing Together". With “Growing Together”, we want to create an enriching, fun-filled environment where families can connect, learn, and play together. Through interactive exhibits, activities, and educational experiences, we aim to foster growth and development for children while strengthening family bonds. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, encourage healthy habits, and cultivate a sense of community as we grow together.
Fox Cities Kidz Expo has more than 60 activity booths, displays and activities, play areas, an entertainment stage, face painting, demonstrations, giveaways, food concessions and more! Get family photos with mascots, climb in a fire truck or police cruiser, check out the YMCA play station, or just get lost in the fun!

3. RETRO VIDEO GAME TOURNAMENT
Join us for an exciting Retro Video Game Tournament at the Neenah Public Library! Test your skills on classic games, from timeless arcade hits to beloved console favorites, as you compete for gift card prizes from Blind Tiger Games. With multiple televisions set up for shorter wait times, you’ll spend more time playing and less time waiting. This all-ages event is free and open to everyone, with no registration necessary. Please note, prizes are limited to one per family. Don't miss out on the fun—come relive the glory days of gaming with us!

4. SAP TO SYRUP
Join us for an afternoon hike as we explore Maple Syrup Season in Wisconsin. Families will get a chance to see the process from start to finish including tapping a tree (if the sap is running), cooking, and sampling the finished product over ice cream.
There are no refunds for cancellations; substitutes are permitted. Refunds will be issued for programs cancelled by Bubolz due to low registration.

5. OLD FASHIONED FEST AT 313 DODGE

7. DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE
